Delete your data

Speaking Bee by Skivelane Limited has no accounts. Your phone gets a random device id, and your voice notes, transcripts and translations are stored against it. We never ask for your name or email.

In the app

• Open Speaking Bee and go to Settings.
• Tap Clear data.
• Tap Delete to confirm.

Your voice notes, transcripts and translations disappear from the app straight away. A usage count for the device stays so free limits keep working.

Permanent deletion by email

In the app, go to Settings and tap Contact support. The email it opens includes your device id. Send it to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my Speaking Bee data". If you write from elsewhere, include the email of the Apple or Google account you subscribed with. We permanently delete everything listed below within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What we delete

• Voice notes and the audio you recorded
• Transcripts and translations
• Live session history
• Your language settings and usage counts
• Push notification tokens

What is kept

• Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, which they keep for tax and refunds
• Aggregated statistics that no longer identify you

Live conversations are translated as you speak and are not saved unless you record them. Deleting the app removes what is stored on your phone. Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions first.
